Rose McGowan Goes After Jeff Bezos, Amazon Studios Chief Roy Price
UPDATE: Within four hours of Rose McGowan’s tweets below, Amazon Video decided it was best to have their studio chief Roy Price take a leave of absence, effective immediately.
Immediately after Twitter reinstated her posting privileges around Thursday noon, Rose McGowan furiously resumed her calling out of big names in relation to the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal.
Her latest set of tweets are addressed to Jeff Bezos of Amazon.
1) @jeffbezos I told the head of your studio that HW raped me. Over & over I said it. He said it hadn’t been proven. I said I was the proof.

2) @jeffbezos I had already sold a script I wrote to your studio, it was in development. When I heard a Weinstein bailout was in the works
— rose mcgowan (@rosemcgowan) October 12, 2017
3) @Jeffbezos I forcefully begged studio head to do the right thing. I was ignored. Deal was done. Amazon won a dirty Oscar.

4) @jeffbezos I am calling on you to stop funding rapists, alleged pedos and sexual harassers. I love @amazon but there is rot in Hollywood
— rose mcgowan (@rosemcgowan) October 12, 2017
4) @jeffbezos I called my attorney & said I want to get my script back, but before I could, #2 @amazonstudios called to say my show was dead
— rose mcgowan (@rosemcgowan) October 12, 2017
5) @jeffbezos Be the change you want to see in the world. Stand with truth. #ROSEARMY #Amazon

It seems to be that that the “Amazon Studios head” the actress referred to is Roy Price.
About a year ago, McGowan revealed at a talk that she had just sold a show to Amazon, which she had written and intended to direct herself.
Roy Price also posted to his verified Twitter account the above photo with Rose McGowan in October 2016. His profile identifies him as “head of amazon studios and global content at amazon video.”
This recent tweet below also seems to suggest that Rose McGowan had told Roy Price about what Harvey Weinstein did to her.
Another relevant tidbit: Amazon had reportedly investigated Roy Price for allegedly making lewd comments to female producer Isa Hackett (‘The Man in the High Castle‘ series).
To recap what has been going on…
For over a year, Rose McGowan has alluded on Twitter to her being raped by a Hollywood studio head, whom she did not name but whose identity she had hinted at very strongly. A week ago, The New York Times revealed that the actress had reached a $100,000 settlement with Harvey Weinstein in 1997, which included a non-disclosure agreement that prevents her from disclosing details of the settlement.
Here are more photos posted on Twitter from when Amazon studio chief Roy Price and actor-director Rose McGowan were on better terms with each other.
