(L.A.) Renato Patiag, 81, Committed Suicide

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 81-year-old male of Filipino ethnicity that occurred inside a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Renato Patiag.

Manner of death: Suicide

Cause of death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Patiag was born in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. He graduated from Burbank High and studied at Woodbury University until 1983.

He is survived by wife Macaria Rodriguez and children Melissa (Rissa), Myra (Betts), and Renato (Jr.).
