Man Shot Dead in North Hollywood, Shooter Remains at Large

A 41-year-old man was shot dead in North Hollywood this Sunday morning, right before noon.

Los Angeles police are still searching for his killer.

The shooting happened in the 12000 block of Saticoy Street east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, and was reported at 11:20 a.m.

The victim became engtangled in a dispute with a man in his 20s who pulled out a gun and fired a shot before fleeing the scene. The victim died at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Officers set up a perimeter to search for the shooter. They provided the public with no physical description of the suspect.
