UK: Man Dies Suddenly on Busy Shopping Street
An investigation has been launched after a man died suddenly on a busy shopping street in the city center of York, in England.
Emergency crews were called to Coney Street at midday on Monday following reports that a man had died outside of a property. The man has not yet been identified and that there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Police cars and an ambulance have been pictured parkedon the street.
North Yorkshire Police released a statement on their Facebook page, saying: “Sad news as we deal with a report of a sudden death in York. Officers were called at 12pm today to a report of the sudden death of man outside a property in Coney Street, York.
“He has not yet formally been identified. Enquiries are at an early stage, and are ongoing, although at this time there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.”
