Khabib Interpreter Rizvan Magomedov Arrested at UFC 229

Rizvan Magomedov, the Dominance MMA management agency’s interpreter in charge of communicating with Dagestani and Chechen fighters, has reportedly been arrested at the UFC 229 event in Las Vegas.

Magomedov was caught by cameras to be hitting Conor McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis several times, after UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped into the crowd to attack Danis.

Who is he?

Rizvan Magomedov works hand in hand with Ali Abdelaziz, the controversial founder of Dominance MMA management agency.

He has been in the United States since 2008, living in New York and Florida, before settling in Chicago, considering the Windy City his second home.

Magomedov is a friend of Rustam Khabilov, a UFC fighter born in the Dagestan region of Russia. He himself has taken classes in judo and jiujitsu and shares a common interest with Khabib in guns and shooting.
