Justin Bieber Suffers Facial Paralysis Just Three Months After Wife’s Scare π
The 28-year-old pop star took to his Instagram on Friday to share a three-minute video explaining the diagnosis.
Justin Bieber has revealed that he fears struggling to eat after suffering temporary facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt syndrome. He’s had to cancel shows on his Justice World Tour schedule.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a complication of shingles. The hearing loss and facial paralysis associated with the syndrome can be temporary, but can also become permanent.
Justin Bieber reveals he is suffering from facial paralysis, a symptom of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome:
βIβm doing all these facial exercises to get my face back to normal, and it will go back to normal. Itβs just time. We donβt know how much time itβs gonna be, but itβs gonna be OK.β pic.twitter.com/o6Z20qAtvW

Justin’s right eye was unable to blink and the right side of his face did not move as he began the video saying: ‘Hey everyone Justin here, I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on.
‘Obviously as you can probably see with my face. I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.’

This has not been an easy year for the Bieber family as Justin’s wife Hailey was hospitalized in March for a blood clot in her brain which gave her stroke-like symptoms.
During that ordeal, Justin did not leave his 25-year-old wife’s side.
