Jimmy Wang Yu, Pioneer of KungFu Movies, Dies at 79

The trailblazing martial artist starred in classic Hong Kong movies Golden Swallow and The Chinese Boxer, paving the way for the likes of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee.

Wang died in a Taipei hospital on Tuesday, his daughter Linda revealed on Instagram. He had been suffering from chronic ill health for a number of years.

The actor’s memorial ceremony will be held on April 28th, 2022 (Thursday) in Taiwan’s capita city.
