Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 73-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Isaac Shepher.
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head
Other Significant Condition: History of Stroke

Life Alert Emergency Response, Inc. is a nationwide American company, with headquarters in Encino, California, which provides services that help elderly contact emergency services. The company was founded in 1987 by Isaac Shepher, Zohar Loshitzer, and Arik Amir.
In April 2022, Isaac Shepher — best known for the California-based Life Alert emergency-response company he and his longtime wife Miri founded in the late 1980s, which is famous for that catchy slogan: “Help! I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up!” — bought a mansion in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley. Records show the Israeli couple paid just under $15.8 million for the property, which is located in the guard-gated enclave of Hidden Hills.
He meant a lot to a lot of people. That is his legacy.

It’s just so so sad, words can’t fulfill the sadness that took place with the passing of Issac.
How come in the report it says they were Caucasian then in the article it says they are Israelis ??
Isaac Shepher stole my push button transmitter and I praised for God to remove him from this place
May he have accepted Jesus while he was living. If not, he has fallen tremendously fast and far and the only mediator will not know him

I am heart-broken & devastated to just-now learn of Itzak’s death. ! He & his lovely wife, Miri, came into Van Nuys Costco, where I was doing a “Road Show,” displaying solid marble vases and statues. We did much business together, as he & Miri purchased tens of thousands of dollars worth of marble for their home in Brentwood, twenty years ago.
I hope that I may convey my heart-felt condolences to his beautiful family, God Bless Them with Peace, Calm, & Strength, right now .!
