Is Malwarebytes Safe?
Controversial anti-malware company Malwarebytes pushed out an update today that not only turned off web protection, but also ended up consuming vast amounts of the memory and CPU resources of their customers’ computers, rendering them practically unusable.
Business customers were acutely affected, with sysadmins scrambling to turn off their clients’ computers.
To make matters worse, the first fix that the company pushed out after the initial disaster still left users with unusable or crashing computers.
