After The New York Times came out with an article about Harvey Weinstein’s 30-year spree of sexual harassment and assault, there are still people openly thanking the movie producer on social media for his work, particularly for movie projects that would otherwise may have had a hard time getting made.

He was accused at the age of 16 of stealing a backpack. His family was unable to afford his bail, which had been set at $3000.
