Govworks.com Founder Kaleil Isaza Tuzman Raped in Colombia Prison

A New York Times article published on September 25 reveals that govworks.com founder Kaleil D. Isaza Tuzman was raped in prison after his arrest in Colombia in 2015 on fraud charges brought forth by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York.

Tuzman, a Boston-born Harvard graduate and former Goldman Sachs banker, spent a total of 10 months under arrest in Colombia before being extradited to the United States.

GovWorks.com is famously the subject of the documentary Startup.com (2001), which followed the company from its founding to bankruptcy.

The entrepreneur is a dual citizen of Colombia and the United States with one side of his family being from South America, the other from Poland.
