Who is Eve Chilton Weinstein?

Eve Parish Chilton is supposed to have been Harvey Weinstein’s first secretary at Miramax Films. Smitten with her, he kept putting dozens of roses on her desk; company employees would tell him to stop because it could be perceived as harassment.

Soon enough though, Eve Chilton married Harvey Weinstein. The New York Times reported in 1987 that the couple wed on November 21st at the Lotos Club in Manhattan. The Rev. Fred Baldwin, an Episcopal priest, and Rabbi Charles D. Lippman officiated.

Eve Chilton Weinstein is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McLemore Chilton of Boston. She graduated from the Ethel Walker School and Connecticut College. Her mother Maude was a descendant of Edmund Randolph, the first Attorney General of the United States, and her great-grandfather founded the nation’s first global law firm, Hunton and Williams.

Today, she is known as Harvey Weinstein’s first wife. They divorced in 2004. Together, they had three children — Lily (“Remy”) Weinstein, Emma Weinstein, Ruth Weinstein
