Earthquake Hits Los Angeles Right Before Midnight

A magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck at 11:38 PM PDT approximately 3km WSW of El Monte, California.

Though felt widely in the greater Los Angeles area, there are no reports of serious injuries, and no indication of significant infrastructure damage within the City of Los Angeles.
