Austin received his first booster in October 2021. He first tested positive for COVID in January 2022. After that, he received another booster.

In effect, the defense secretary of the United States has supposedly received four shots of synthetic mRNA, and is now on his second round of COVID disease.

Austin is 69 years old.

The Pentagon imposed a jab mandate on all military personnel last August, amid the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Though the Biden administration insists that injections of synthentic mRNA are safe and effective, thousands of troops have refused to be poked.
