Andrei Svislotski Ended His Life in L.A. at 62

Case Number: 2022-13229

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at a place of business.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andrei Svislotski.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Hanging

RIP ANDREI SVISLOTSKI (June 3, 1960 – December 19, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:45 p.m.

The decedent was an animation director at Universal Studios, originally from Russia. He moved to the United States in the early 1990s.

Member of TAG (The Animation Guild, IATSE Local 839). 🥕🥕

Worked at Klasky Csupo Studio, Brown Bag Films, Paramount Pictures, Disney Junior, DreamWorks Animation Televisions, and Nickelodeon.

Emmy Nominee 2014 for the Outstanding Directing in TV animation, “Curious George” animation TV series, Universal Studios.

Emmy Nominee 1994 for the Outstanding Achievement in TV animation, “Aahhh! Real Monsters!” animation TV series, Nickelodeon.
